Nick Vujicic was born in 1982 in Melbourne, Australia — but unlike most babies, he arrived with no arms and no legs. His parents were shocked. His mother, a nurse, couldn’t even hold him for the first few days because of the deep emotional pain. The doctors had no explanation. One day, during his teens, he read the Scripture in John 9 — where Jesus says the blind man wasn’t born blind because of sin, but “so that the works of God might be displayed in him.”
That verse hit Nick like lightning.
He realized:
“My life can show God’s glory — even without limbs.”
From that moment, his faith grew stronger.
He began speaking at small youth groups, sharing his struggles honestly. Tears filled the room. People who had arms and legs but lived in depression were encouraged by Nick — a boy with no limbs who chose hope.
Soon his story spread. Churches called him. Schools invited him. Then nations. Today Nick has spoken in over 70 countries, telling millions:
“If God can use a man without arms and legs, then God can use you too.”
Nick married, became a father of four, started a global ministry, and wrote bestselling books. He surfs, drives a boat, swims, and travels the world — with no limbs, but with a faith stronger than mountains.
