When filming The Passion, Jim Caviezel was struck by lightning while hanging on the cross.
Crew members screamed because they thought he died.
He said later:
“I saw a flash. My body was numb. I felt peace — like God saying, ‘I am with you.’”
Doctors said he should have died.
After the movie, thousands told him the film led them to repentance, confession, or returning to Christ.
